Ajwan’s Ramadan Ad

I have been trying to follow this year’s ‘Ramadan Season’ television; however, most of our beloved shows have given up on originality and are just trying to add a new taboo to a recycled story line.

My family actually looks forward to the commercial breaks more than the shows themselves. You know there is something wrong when advertisements are more entertaining than the content itself. [YouTube]

I saw this on TV and it reminded me of the AIDS awareness campaign clips. The animation in the commercial is impressive -compared to other national TV CG- but the narrating is too “soft?” and not fitting IMHO.
The idea/story is bad though, very.

It’s actually not bad! But the best ad is NBK’s. The one where he says. wa kayfa fa3altu thalek?Response: Al-Watani online ya mawlaay(or something like that)

I am not into watching the “Ramadani” shows/series and I guess I am missing on the Ads and commercial breaks LOL

I have seen few today while watching um sa3af and danderma

Pretty interesting… and I like them too more than the shows themselves LOL

Havent seen this one (you posted about) which channel was it on?

This year the shows and the ads are as bad as Sh**, the only one that’s a bit cool is FT one.

The only show I’ve found worth watching so far is Freej on Sama Dubai…HYSTERICAL. The first episode was just too, too much lol
(And I’m ashamed to report that–despite living in the UAE my whole life–I can only understand 70% of what they say..The shame! The shame!)

And this ad is pretty genius. Where have all these Khaleeji animators been hiding all these years?!

    Loved it !
there was one a couple of years back with similar story line but about three brothers.. one invested in stocks and lost. .the other madry shino.. and of course the smart one invested with ajwan !
    but this is cool..
    and chika..
the ad with the orchestra is for zumorruda holding..
i actually thought it was laaaaaame..
how the heck are we supposed to think of a kuwaiti company through watching all those europeans with their personal lives who play in an orchestra ?!?!?!
it’s the biggest loser.. even soug il salmiya from last year was better ! lol
