   go for the low end one. best bang for the buck. i have a dvd writer and only used it once and the difference between the 2.0ghz and 1.83 is like nothing.

   i am going to get the low end macbook and upgrade the drive myself to 120gb 7200rpm and the ram to 1.5 or 2GB (not sure which yet). Will then get an empty external drive case and use the 60gb drive it came with the MacBook as an external drive. and tada :)
