iPod shuffle Reset Utility
Wow, Apple just released a software (for mac and pc) called the iPod shuffle reset utility. Basically this software brought my iPod shuffle back from the dead! I can’t believe it worked.. [Link]

it wasnt working. had it thrown away in a drawer gathering dust. there was no way to the fix the problem, it was just dead.
