I don’t like it, looks too much like an FJ cruiser to be honest.
I think its pretty cool, its not everyday that you see a production model faithfully follow the design of the concept model.
It looks nice, sleek, techie, but as mobi said, “let’s hope it’s safer than the last model”

What exactly in the Murano looks like the Land Rover?
is it going to have visibility issues? the back looks cramped a little…
Does this mean that Range Rover design will change too ?
I like the design. Yet it doesn’t look comfy from the back.
Guess we will see it on Top Gear before it’s official release.

i dont like how it looks actually i would have preferred it if they just did some upgrades to the older shape instead of just completely changing the look and by that i think land rover has lost its identity as a unique looking car i prefer the older shape.
@ Mark, I use to own a black FJ cruiser, the front end looks similar in terms of shape. I miss the old blocky look of the Range Rover.

As you can see the front end looks nothing like an FJ.
7ussien: Would be hard to update the older shape since this model didn’t exist up until yesterday. This is not a Range Rover, LR2, LR3 or Defender. It’s a new series called the Evoque.
I have not forgotten how a car I use to own a month ago looks like. To my eyes it looks similar, that’s why I don’t like it.

The 02 door and single night roof design looks very close to the custom Range done by Street Customs on their show for a Rich Sheikh in the UAE. Cant remember though the exact date I saw it on the Discovery Chanel. The front and rear design on this one however is unique. Wonder if the doors swing open like the one on the show; that would be very sexy if it came as standard,

Range Rover Stormer, it was a concept that Street Customs made a reality for a rich Sheikh in the UAE.
No longer a stodgy British brick … The mechanical reliability improvements may take a while longer to execute with finesse.

I didn’t graduate from a California auto design art school so could someone tell me how the new rakish design of the Evoque remotely resembles the roundish design of the frickin FJ Cruiser!
This looks like the Concept car that Range Rover released some time ago. Feel sorry for the shiek that paid west coast customs dubai to build him one.
It says ‘Range Rover’ on the front, not Land Rover BTW.

actually mark, it is a Range Rover. It says so on the front. Your sentence should have read: its not a Vogue or Sport, but is a new meodel. The other models that you mention- Defender etc are Land Rover.
