Lexus + Pontiac = Huanghai

A Chinese car maker called Huanghai Auto has copied borrowed designs from the Pontiac Torrent and Lexus RX350 and combined them to create one car, the Huanghai NCV. Should be available in Hawalli soon. [Link]

    Its amazing how the chinese can copy / borrow anything on the planet. Lol theres even a rip of the Rolls Royce Phantom.

    Its kinda sad for the company who designs it at first cause the spent large amounts on R&D and all the chinese co. has to do is ‘borrow’ it.

    My economics professor says that the chinese “dasheen eb qowa” especially in production because its high quality goods with very low prices.

    I wonder which feature of Pontiac has it copied. Maybe one of its internal excellent performing components like its Pontiac exhaust system or engine. But the car doesn’t look that luxurius. GM can still make better one. So copying wasn’t very ideal in this matter. :/
