    lol looks totalled…

now wouldnt that just bring tears to your eyes if it was your car? Hope nobody was injured. Looks like the driver side was opened up, possibly by the resuce staff (if theyre that well equipped over there, unlike the Ambulance ppl here)

Yeah I saw that yellow wreck (and about three other vehicles) the day it happened outside Media City in Dubai. Heck of a long queue of rubberneckers on the other side of the road. Now please enlighten me - what’s a Murcielago Roadster? Apart from bright yellow and very fragile?

Dubai has been averaging one death a day due to crazy driving. That’s how bad the problem is. Newspapers are publishing “Accident of the week” articles, and radio stations are conducting a safe driving awareness campaign, but I doubt it will be of any use. Crazy drivers will remain crazy drivers, no matter what.

Do you have that same problem in Kuwait?

no, we have a bigger problem. Kuwait leads the world in automobile deaths per capita. I did a quick google and I found this stats back from 2003, so you know its higher now.

“372 people died in 2003, 57 more than in 2002, as a result of 45,400 traffic accidents. In addition, 405 people were seriously injured and 927 others received light wounds.”

The other car was a bmw 5 series 2005 and that was on the 12th of Feb at 8:30 am. The guy in the bmw was weaping while the murcielago guy was thinking, hmmmmm, should I get it in orange again or another color??
That accident made me go 1 hour late for a meeting.

obviously he didn’t have a HOLY KORAN in the glovebox.

everybody knows the middle east is has the LOWEST traffic accidents in the world bc everybody puts qurans in their cars.

There was a Ferrari Enzo crash in California recently that made the news. It’s now at http://www.wreckedexotics.com/newphotos/exotics/11enzo_20060221_010.shtml. Click on the “full coverage” link for the very weird story unfolding behind the accident.
