New Lumina SS?
I was browsing Autoblog and I found pictures of the new Holden SS which is basically the Lumina SS. Since everyone has a Lumina in Kuwait I figured I would post a link to pictures and specs of the upcoming model. Its supposed to do 0-60 in like 5.1 seconds which is just sick. [Link]

Luminas coming to this part of the world are australian made. GM’s australian arm HOLDEN makes them. There its known as commodore.Widely sold as commodore in AU, NZ and Thailand…and also in SA. When it comes to Middle East, they change the name to Chevrolet Lumina and Steering and Emblems…

the bugatti does 0-60 in 2.5 secs flat
In fact, if you put a bugatti and a mclaren F1 on the starting line, let the mclaren get up to 120mph, then let the bugatti start, the buigatti would still beat the mclaren to top speed! :)

Lumina SS’s…always a pleasure to drive. They haven’t made much of a change in its look though. Nevertheless…still makes North Americans stay mad at GM for not bringing Luminas and Caprices to their shores.
p.s. JustMe…that might be true. But c’mon…you can’t put a V6 or V8 Lumina in the same category as a W16 Veyron…that would be like comparing a Tercel to a an M3.

The lumina SS is the Pontiac GTO in the states.

hey mark, thanks for that link. I just downlaoded the file. but i keep getting error from file buddy when opening the download. i also get an error message when trying to run the ap and saying its corrupted (even though i’m sure it was downloaded 100% and I tried again couple times after clearing all the cache and stuff).
so what could be the problem? *total mac n00b*

I think the Lumina ss is a spectacular car both performance wise and looks wise. Its always a pleasure to drive a muscle car on a compact body and to tell u the truth i think the 2006 model is the best model yet..
