Some cars already have this installed like the Toyota Camrys last yr and therefor were exempt from KOC/JO requirement. Oilfield here too.

Meshooo is correct.

All Oil field Employee’s/Contractor’s Vehicles must be fitted with a spark arrestor like this.
It comes with different sizes to match with your exhaust pipe.

Spark Arrester like Meshooo said, its required by oil companies KOC, Texaco, etc.. if the vehicle is operating in their sites.

they are called spark arresters, some cars have them built in the mufflers, but some don’t, it is a safety requirement (though an ugly one) for these cars to be able to enter the oil fields…because some oil/gas production facilities might have a leak that may cause a fire or an explosion if a car does not have such an attachment and cruises near by a facility
