Actually, no it isnt. Slow internet is aggravating and a waste of time. Everyone who is on here saying I get 70 kbps downloads and thinks that is fast has been in Kuwait too long.

All the ISPS claim a 2MB connection, but thats if you want to download things in Kuwait. (Guess what's hosted in Kuwait...jack...shit.)

Everywhere civilized in the world has broadband (calling Kuwaiti Internet "high-speed" is flat out false advertisement) that pulls down at 1Mbps +.

Nawaf is right...now its 2010. Time to start progressing Kuwait.

For me It's redicilous that we actually pay so much, for in my opinion I call a terrible internet. expensive + terrible, in my book It's really bad! We're almost into new year 2009, and we're not improving, I think it's because we only have 2 big major companies in my eyes, qualitynet and kems, rest companies are just taking the internet from either qnet or kems. and that is it. because we don't have alot of companies, qnet are actually stealing money from the citizens, we want cables. its 2009 for gods sake.

Look at the irony of it. I had been calling qualitynet daily to activate my connection as I had completed all procedures. They finally activated it the day cable was cut. I can't thank them enough for this favor ;)

I confirm it too and all my office collegues.
Change the DNS servers to the above mentioned ones by Topagi.

If you are on network, change the DNS settings at the router.
DHCP relay and everyone gets good speed.

If theres no DHCP, then manual DNS entries into TCP/IP properties.

The speed is back to normal.

You can check out for more Open DNSs over the internet.
