Macbook Pro Magsafe Melt Down
Many people have been complaining about Apple’s new Magsafe power plug that come with the new Macbook’s but these pictures on flickr show their might be a bigger problem. One guy came home to find his Magsafe connecter had melted… really freaky. [Link]

that sucks, but it would be really stupid of apple if its really a mistake by them
if u read the comments u can see that the guy had his laptop charging and he left the house, when he came back it was on the floor, and the guy had cats
they must have knocked over somehow, and did something to it
i dont think its a big problem, its only a charger cord with a magnet on it, nothing too fancy or complicated enough to actually burn

yeah but if you look at the pics u will see that the macbook pro powersocket is also burned meaning the magsafe was attached to the macbook when it burned before the cats managed to unplugg it.

I think mac is cheap on quality these days.

check out the pics again.. apple asked him to temporarily scramble the pics until they investigate the issue :/
