I paint astronauts and, sometimes, dinosaurs.

I am nearly done redecorating my house so I’ve started looking for accessories including paintings. Like everything else in my life I am looking for them online since I highly doubt I could find anything interesting here. One painter that’s recently grabbed my attention is Scot Listfield. He mostly paints astronauts, the future and even Star Wars characters like in the painting above which by the way is amazing but already sold! I emailed him asking about the price of two other paintings I found interesting, one is called McDonald’s the other Intelligent Design. If you notice both have something to do with burgers! Anyway check out his work he has some pretty cool paintings if you’re into this stuff. [Link]

that’s pretty awesome. I’d go with the McDonalds painting, or anything involving Star Wars.

looks like there is still some creativity left in this fucking world.
I like the back to the future subway one and rooftop berlin.

That looks weird, but for some reason it doesn’t feel weird to have it in a house. Huh, pretty cool.

if it’s future, I would love to see tireless cars and some cities in bottom of the ocean. maybe they will have races riding sharks or wild aliens !
and couple of aliens having coke and burger would be nice as well !

I didn’t like the paintings but surely liked the idea of keeping some future fantasy artworks in home. hopefully, to take our minds to better places.

Hi Mark i think the paintings look really unique and funky i’d really appreciate if you could advise me on some links regarding house decorations im kind of stuck with what to do with my new place thought of even buying a whole display of ready set living rooms at Ikea but then i need more creativity and will certainly put my own touch so since you surf the web on a constant basis could you kindly set me up with couple of links that you would think would be close to Ikea style?

    * On another note I’ve been one of your silent readers since Miskan;; i love your blog you’re really talented and one of a kind;248 am is the first thing i check in the morning cheers and thank you in advance :)

Behbehani: I am guessing you bought the replica prints and not the actual oil on canvas paintings. The artist emailed me back, the McDonalds painting is for $1000 while the other one is for $3,500 :S
