melikes the logo too only it doesnt really convey the meanin of the olympics. besides, most definitely not worth 400,000 pounds. fk tht. am sure i or even mark can come up with somethin better for half tht much. holllllaaaahhhhh :)

Big T, if that is all they paid, then it’s cheap. when it comes to branding, on first glance the price does not equate to the design. However, you need to look at the time, effort and expense that went into developing the brand, as well as the long-term value which the brand will eventually hold. I believe, for example that the recent rebranding of PWC as Agility cost more than $1 million, yet no-one disputes that the new identity will have many more times value to them eventually. I like the London logo too. Though it doesn’t immediately shout ‘Olympics’, it perfectly illustrates the youthful spirit of London 2012. Hopefully they won’t come up with a crappy mascot to spoil it…

i was reading in this tube newspaper that people in London hate it and there is a huge campaign to change the logo. Apparently no one likes it here!

it kinda looks like a camel facing the left, taking a really bad shit and shaking. oh and 80′s punky brewster.

I think its meaningless and in 2012 will probably be out of fashion. I could barely see the 2012 written which I am sure is deliberate and is supposed to resemble a dancing man? Anyhow I dont see how kids or seniors will relate to it or even know what it is. Too narrow target audience.

It looks like a blowjob action to me!

  13. Lord Raj says:

MIGHT be good (sayin this since there r people who are into the advert n designin business who actually think this is cool)

but definitely not worth the olympics.. no way.. its too.. too dont know.. i personally think its rather childish. n the 2012.. hell does take some effort to make that out. probably i need glasses, but since there r others who said the same thing too, perhaps it wouldve been betta if they jus put in a lil more thought into makin the logo.
