Gulf Run here I come!
Just booked my tickets to Bahrain via Jazeera Airways. They are practically giving them away, it cost me only KD23. Weird thing is after I booked I was checking the passenger name and it was written TESTTT, TESTT. I called Jazeera Airways up a few minutes ago to fix it and I am actually still on hold waiting for someone to pick up while I am writing this post.
So anyways, Gulf Run is next week, I am going to be taking both my video cam and digital camera so I can take a ton of shots. Marzouq, Bader and Khalid are also going and I don’t know if there are any other bloggers also going. If you want to find out more about Gulf Run you can check out their website on www.thegulfrun.com

update: After waiting for like 10 minutes they hung up on me, I called again and I am now still on hold
update2: Finally got a hold of someone who was very professional and straight to the point. Fixed my problem instantly. I guess they just need more operators.

ok since u guys bought up the jazeera airways topic.. here goes ..
Last week i booked a flight frm Muscat to Dubai .. and i land up at the airport two hours before departure … and i keep looking arnd for the check in counter .. and guess what. . “there’s no checkin counter” trust me guys … anyways.. what happened was that the flight got cancelled .. and no one cared to inform any of the passengers.. i finally got through to someone in kuwait who promised me my money back and free ticket. . its been about 8 days now .. no news of my money neither the ticket. .
its bloody frustrating !!! ohh btw i got through the phone call with the guy in kuwait only after i told them i am from the media and threteaned to write an article on the issue… (which will turn up in gulf news and khaleej times very soon)
Phew!! sorry i was totally frustrated ..
