Adidas Forum X Maharishi (Mahadidas)

I really like these Adidas Maharishi’s. I am not usually a fan of Adidas mid tops but these are very tastefully done by Maharishi. From Sneaker Freaker:

Using a bevy of chambray-style materials, each piece has been crafted to produce a WWII naval uniform feel, mixed in with adidas’ sportswear heritage.

But, at KD50, I am not so sure they’re worth it. Would rather put the money in my Nike Air Force 1 X Clot fund. [Link]

I dont get it. I am of Indian origin, but I know we are NOT good at sports…unless it is cricket. What is the indian relation to these shoes..with the whole “Maha” part?

Maharishi is a british brand, most of their items are hand-made in India. Love it!

I think the fact that Adidas have JUST released this colab series shows that Maharishi have clearly got over their financial problems from earlier this year. You could also check out their website for new products. I think this colab is superb, but can’t get along with fabric shoes (blue chambray – shirt fabric is used for shoe front?!?). Long Live Maharishi!

Hey CurlySue – Nike already has collaborated with Maharishi to produce some FINE trainers – white leather embossed with Maharishi’s house camo (“bonsai” inc. dragons) with bright orange “Nike” on heel + other details. I think they came out in very limited numbers back in 2004…
