Bavarian Food
One of my favorite things about Munich was the food. I was eating non stop through out the day since their food is very hard to resist although it would be easy for the majority of you since most of their dishes are pork based. I took pictures of my dishes whenever I could and if you click on continue below you could see some of them. As you can see most are sausages with potato salad. The one above was taken at the Augustiner Beer Garden.

Uh I don’t know…I always gag whenever I see Bavarian food, and I used to live in that area. And if I see one more bratwurst, I’m going to scream :D

I lived in Germany before moving to KuwaiT and I miss it SOOOO MUCH!
Muslim or not I’ll never eat pork just seeing the stuff it eats T_T And damn it it looks pretty delicious =(

The steckerlfisch is outstanding. I had it on my first trip to Germany in 2007, to visit my now-husband, at Maidelt in Regensburg. I’ve craved it since, and I was there for Christmas, but couldn’t find it. Is the mackerel at fairs a seasonal offering?
