As stupid as it may sound, i did see it.

What’s with all the outrage? It’s a fish for crying out loud. Big deal. How many people who expressed their outrage are vegetarians? Or do you chomp down on burgers and the like, meat products from animals that are vastly more intelligent than fish, and not give it a seconds thought?

It’s not about if they die or not, it’s about torture.
We don’t deep fry a live cow, and eat it while it’ still struggling to live.
This is why we have Halal food that has been killed swiftly, and not by torture.

@ Nasser. No, they’re just invariably raised in poor conditions, have a bolt shot through their brain, are then chopped up and all the little left over bits ground into the burgers you more than likely chow down on on a regular basis. Torture? I suppose it depends on your perspective.

Halal’s way is God’s way, Bleeding to death takes a minute or less. How much pain this cause is not the topic here, However think about it, As your body began to lose blood your blood pressure, respirations, and heart rate will go up in an attempt to compensate for the lost oxygen transport. These are normal body functions as you enter the early stages of shock. As more blood is lost, more ability to transport oxygen is lost. This is called hypoxia. And the loss of blood is hypovolemia. People tend to become disoriented as their brain loses oxygen and of course you become tired as well since there is no energy being transported around. The progression of shock will continue until you die. Is that painful?
cooking an animal and eating him alive is different than killing it the proper way to be cooked and eaten.

Come on people. Why all the outrage? As others have pointed out to all meat eaters do some actuall research into how your meat is “processed”. For all the ones who said this was disgusting or disturbing and are lovers of McDonalds McNuggets and other chicken nugguts and chicken pattys and what ever processed chicked food you eat, check this out. This is the biggest chicken distributor in the world so there is a good chance you have aten some “processed” chicken from here. As for Halal go do some research. There are A LOT of companies who put on their products “Halal” and are not actually killed in any Halal manner at all”
Also how about all those lobster lovers out there? Did you know as you boil them you can actually here them “scream” I sure heard the lobsters screams when I boil them. There are a few places that will sell “humanly” killed lobsters which is froozen to death before they boil it. Yah, what a humane way to be killed… But nothing beats boiled alive lobster.
During the summer season I go diving for oysters and sea urchants and eat them on the spot. Am I inhumane now because right before I suck down their delicous guts I have to crack open their shells in what some may precieve as brutal? And you can’t wait for them to die because their meat goes instantly bad.
Lastly please as educated people which I am starting to to think is a dieing breed, that you need to keep in mind other peoples cultures.

@Kevin, It is not always the case. When i decide to go out to eat lobsters or crabs, i always tend to make sure how those creatures were killed.
The thing is that ince a lobster or a crab is dead, it’s body releases an enzime that makes it self-digest in a very rapid manner, making it either totally empty inside the shell, or making its meat uneatable.
The best way to do it is stabbing the crab or the lobster with a sharp knife swiftly one inch behind its eyes, whch would penetrate its brain and kill it instantly without pain. Much like having a bullet in the head, where you feel nothing at all.

Right on man. Too many ignorant people with no idea how the world works. They see this video of a fish and start crying about it, and they’re so ignorant they don’t even know how any of the meat they consume is killed and processed.
All this crying over a goddamn fish, when people are dying of aids in Africa, when you got people dying in wars, there are soo many important issues in this world, yet people cry about this stupid fish with the brain the size of a grain of sand…just pathetic.

Hey you guys, I dont think that fish was deep fried… the brown stuff looks like some kind of sauce poured over the fish… Looks like they’re having raw fish – sashimi… Not that I approve of this eating of a live fish… At least kill the damn fish…
And to all the people thinking about where the world is heading… its not heading anywhere… its always been like this… just that you didnt know about stuff… people have been doing stuff like this for centuries… in most cases even worse…

I once had a “Bolti” fish cleaned and gutted at a fish farm in Wafra and then took it to our farm to grill.
It was only 20 minutes since the gutting, but the fish surprised us by twitching over the grill fire!! It did this once or twice then stopped, we did not have a problem eating it.
I think this video is the same, its post death reflexes. It isn’t alive.
