KD35 Ritz-Carlton Bahrain Burger

Has anyone tried The Plums WOW Burger at the Ritz Carlton in Bahrain? According to the menu (screenshot above) it costs KD35. I was just wondering if anyone’s tried it and if they thought it was worth it or not. [Link]

I attended a rally in london against foie gras many ppl dont know what it is …so this is a blurb to get u and ur readers grossed out

    It is sad :(

Foie gras (pronounced /fwɑːˈɡrɑː/ in English; French for “fat liver”) is a food product made of the liver of a duck or goose that has been specially fattened. This fattening is typically achieved through gavage (force-feeding)

why don’t you have a 1988 Petrus, and you get TWO FREE burgers and its only BHD 2,600/-. those wines have a 500 percent markup.

  5. Frankom says:

Why would a person spend KD35 on a burger?

  6. Mark says:

I know. I didn’t mind paying KD55 but thats because it was the most expensive burger in the world. It gave me something i could boast about. A KD35 burger though is just an expensive burger.

How about I charge you 60 KD for a burger I make?

  12. cajie says:

Well, it should be the most expensive in the middle east. That should count for something.

  13. AndyQ8 says:

Nobody should still be eating foie gras in 2010. It’s just wrong.

Oh and they don’t force feed chickens, sheep, cows, etc. in order for them to fatten up?

    Idiots.

  16. I don’t care if it’s made with Brooke Shields’ Breasts wrapped up in 24k Gold foil!! IT’S A BD35 Burger!!

Head over to “Jan Burger”, behind Exhibition Road, and ask for their cheeseburger, then see how much that costs compared to the Ritz ripoff!

Hi Marc, I love Plums, but not for their burgers.
If you go there regularly get the CB card which gives you a 50% discount on your bill. Then it wont be so expensive.
I do however recommend you try Jan burger when you have some time, its an all Bahraini favorite.

So they GROUND UP genuine Japanese wagyu? Blasphemous! I don’t get the expensive burger fad.. I just don’t.
