McGriddle

I don’t know why we don’t have this at McDonalds in Kuwait. We were running late this morning so I passed by McDonalds for a quick breakfast and found something called the McGriddle which I decided to try out. Turns out the buns are made with something that tastes like pancakes with maple syrup. So with one sandwich you’re getting pancakes, eggs, cheese and sausage. It was delicious! [Link]

Heart attack anyone? While looking delicious, this has to be the least healthy item on their menu.

Not only are you getting a delicious combo of pancakes, eggs, cheese and sausage, you are also getting a nice dose of 420 calories out of which 198 are from fat (or about 34% of your daily % value).

Bloody hell, people! Leave the guy alone! He loooovvvves food, so what? He is on holiday, so let the guy eat what he likes and post about what he enjoys!

He is walking around a lot to burn off the calories, so chill out! Stop judging!

    Eat on, Mark :)

Cajie according to the Mcdonalds website it’s 520 calories. I’ve also actually lost weight here, enough to warrent using another hole in my belt! Since the begining of the year I’ve gone from using the first hole on my belt to the 4th.

I am walking a lot here. It’s walking non stop all day. Last night even walked down from 59th street apple store all the way down to my hotel in Brooklyn which is around an 8-9km distance because the weather was good.

Food wise I am eating 5 or 6 times a day and it’s mostly burgers, hotdogs, pizza, icecream or cookies.

Oh and before I got here I spoke with Fahad and he told me I could basically eat whatever I wanted as long as quantity was reasonable and I had a meal every 3 hours. 90% of time I am having just a sandwich without fries and I am trying to keep max calorie of meal at 700. A few times I have had fries but it’s been only 3 times on this trip. When I do have dessert it’s counted as a meal on it’s own and not something that follows a meal.

MgGriddles have been around for YEARS in the States!! If they haven’t come to Kuwait by now they will never be in Kuwait!!

Too bad you won’t find a Chic-Fil-A in New York. Best Chicken Sandwich in the USA!!

@Mark, when I commented “not only are you getting…”, it was not actually meant for you as you know what you are doing – and have a top class dietitian and a gym to back you up.
I was just making a general comment – especially regarding the fat content. 34% of daily value is simply too much for a small burger.

no offense, but that’s the nastiest piece of fast food that I have ever seen. I have a feeling that it probably smells like rotten intestines.

Who would want that piece of pseudo meat in the morning!

Have a milk and some corn flakes next time mark.

  19. Haterhaute says:

It’s not so bad if you ask them to hold the egg and cheese.

the “M” is printed on the buns!
