RubyTuesday by Pentagram

Ruby Tuesday have redesigned their identity and it was handled by Pentagram, the same agency who were responsible for the Commercial Bank of Kuwait identity back in the 70s. I prefer the new logo and how its being applied but I know a lot of people think type based identities are the lazy way out. What I also find interesting is that Appleebee’s just rebranded, so now I am wondering if Chilis or TGIF could be next. [Link]

i like there take out bags and cups , but that’s about all i like in this restaurant including there food and both old and new logo.

Redesigning an identity has to be followed or done in sync with clear tangible changes in the business. I don’t think Ruby Tuesdays nor Applebee’s changes anything else.

Applebee’s & RubyTuesday are not the same. I remember in the late 1990s Applebee’s used to make good food, specially steak. However, I in the last 5 years it started to go bad. Outback Steakhouse make much better food.

Sadly the last time i tried Outback(several times) it sucked, didnt like it at all, best steaks i had were in Block House in Spain, u should check it out!
