Try looking for a bar called 'No se lo dice nadie'. We used to frequent it at about 2 am. The Madrilenos are interesting people- they get up early for work, come home and have a siesta and eat around 9 or 10 pm, then hit the streets until about 3.Not unlike Kuwait, but without the sangria.
