Sushi Eating HOWTO
A simple but detailed guide to eating sushi. A lot of interesting stuff including information on Fugu, the fish Homer once had in an episode of The Simpsons where he got poisoned at the sushi place. I wonder if any place in Kuwait serves Fugu? Tons of information and all very interesting and informative. [Link]

My favorite place and the only place in Kuwait I have sushi is Kei at Marina crescent. Really friendly bartenders and the sushi is just excellent. You should ask Nat, she is the sushi expert. She posted a quick review once here:

I just leave them the amount in the check.. or I hand it to the sushi guy behind the counter. Sometimes I ask what is there policy to tipping. do they pool all the tips and share or does each person get his own table.

Im a food guy.. I dont like waiting to be seated and I get hungry! hehehehe should I go early or could I make reservations @ Kei?

we usually go in the evenings. the bar is usually empty.. most people like to sit down next to the window so if thats what you want then its better to call ahead and reserve. sitting at the bar also gives you faster service. when you sit at a table you get all your order usually at once. while sitting at the bar you get your order directly from the bartender as soon as each is done.
make sure you try the Kei special maki, they are large pieces so a half order would be recommended.

My argument is that sushi is healthy so its OK to stuff my face! hehehehehe

Mark,
I have a project for my blog that I was hoping you’d be willing to lend a helping hand to… the project is entitled “Wise Words of Wisdom from Random People”..
All I need from you is to reply with a one line piece of wisdom or information you wouldn’t mind sharing.. It can be silly, it can be stupid, it can be thoughtful it can be whatever you want.. ie: Never play Leap frog with a Unicorn, when ordering a drink - make it a double, when you encounter a banister - slide.. My goal is to collect as many random bits of information from all over the world to actually see what we can come up with..
Your help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.. just a quick one liner and I’ll leave you alone.. otherwise, just be aware of the fact that you can’t send a restraining order to Bahrain..
