Having "HALAL" logo doesnt mean its got animal product in it.

It actually means the contrary... that it doenst contain any sort of ingrediant thats considered non-Halal (Haram), for example- alcohol or pork.

Vegeterian dishes are considered HALAL. To have a "HALAL" log tells Muslim-consumers it safe to drink/eat. And there are many muslims in asia (the most actually), so the companies obviously want to tap into that market.

RE your halal comment:

Carrots are halal. Just because it's marked halal, doesn't mean it contains animal products. It's an indication that all of the ingredients in the products are from halal sources: i.e. non alcohol, vegetable, and if there are animal ingredients, from animals slaughtered in a permissible manner. It's likely that this drink is Vegan and Vegetarian..

The Taurine is usually synthetic these days though not many countries have laws requiring manufacturers to identify animal products (even halal/kosher marking is usually optional).

Synthetic Taurine is much cheaper to produce than the extract taken from bulls so energy drinks using it are usually vegan by coincidence.

Red Eye is an energy drink in Australia (really nice too) that advertises its use of synthetic Taurine in order to market to vegans.

Well talkin bout thai food....i think the best i had eaten in kuwait was at 'Bangkok Garden'..but they closed down. does any one know y or if they shifted elsewhere? Mark you should try oriental...you'll definitely find taste there !.....with standard and quality. Their tom yam soup is the best as compared to the place in reggai, phuket, pattaya and mai thai as well.

Will have to try the red bull tho...
