Nat sent me this link to a Mind Reader thing. Basically you think of a two digit number lets say 20, you then add the two digits 2+0=2 and you subtract it from the original number 20-2=18. Then you look for the symbol next to the number and click on the crystal ball. I tried it now like 6 times and 6 times it guessed the right symbol. I don’t know how its guessing them!! [Link]
Update: I tried it a bunch of more times now and it got them all right again! Fucking weird..

ahhhh yes. So its just randomly guessing but the odds of it answering right are high.
but wait, how did it guess 6 different numbers which had 6 different symbols right?
Mark, this has been going around for a while.
Basically the calculations can only result in one of the numbers that Laroque suggested and all those numbers have the same symbol. The ‘slight-of-hand’ comes in the fact that they change that symbol each time you do the trick giving the impression that it ‘guesses’ your number.

do that calculation on any two digit number and you get a multiple of 9. All they have to do is display the same symbol next to all multiples of 9 and then you get the same symbol no matter which number you pick!

Easy. Notice something everytime you try again the symbols change order notice number 81 which is can be devided by 9 or any number that adds up to 9 like 8+1=9 54 5+4=9 they share the same symbol and thats the answer everytime
subconsciously you hover the number that you want…
the flash application knows that and uses that info
