Lazy Censorship
I was flipping through a magazine when I saw the above censored ad. I am against censorship but if they are going to do it they should at least do it right. Saving ink?

I wouldn’t say lazy, since I imagine that censoring it like that would actually take more time than just shading over it. I’m just saying :D

I really wonders what’s going on!! in the daily newspapers you can see chests and sholders as much as you want .. but in the monthly magazines like Al Ostura and Yaqaza, Laha, lana , nahda .. you will see lame cut and paste Camouflage covering the same areas and totally ruinning the desiges!!! This is really lame!
Mark, way off topic………….I’m surprised you haven’t mentioned anything about those VDS ads for AUM. I pass at least 10 of them on my way to work, and it always amazes me how any sane person could think that not only is it a good idea to have something that sounds like a sexually transmitted disease, but it should be put on every billboard in Kuwait. ARE YOU VDS???

Well to be honest i think this whole censoring thing is stuuuuupid and is a waste of time. Magazines like this should simply just be sold to people over the age of 18..
omg Mishari i was thinking the EXACT same thing about those VDS ads. they are so ridiculously dumb. “VDS okay, i get it, no VDS!!! Thats why you must join our Uni!”
Isn’t VD Venereal Disease? An STD ? Every time I pass the sign I think it is an ad for the student clinic….
yes i am surprised there isnt more of an uproar about the VDS ads. Not only do they not make sence, unintentionally tasteless but also unattractive.
