I think he just uses some random server feed, anyways with weather you can’t forecast accurately…even with todays technology.

Q80Warlock,
You will be surprised how accurate weather prediction in the US. The problem in the gulf is that they don’t have one independent weather agency for the whole region. Most of the time the meteorologists are not qualifies and sleeping at the wheel.

Kuwait Airport have a weather station that is part of a mandatory network for airports. All their data are collected for ICAO and FAA.

This storm, Saraya as we call it here is by nature unpredictable. The word Saraya means moving. The storm hits quickly and leaves and no one knows for sure when it will hit. That is why generally no one is supposed to go out to sea this season because you could be in a very dangerous situation.

I always try to compare this site with msn and Kuwait airport and Mishaal who is supposed to be khalifat Al-Ojairy (as you guys said) turned out to be khalifat no one!
msn for me was most accurate except for dust (Towz) as no such classification at msn. Kuwait airport site was so funny though last week! once sunny, then dust then sunny again then rainning then dust but nothing about Tozinami storm !

this storm is unpredictable, and this period of unpredictable storms will go on until mid may, so give the guy a break..

Guys wake up and SMELL THE COFFEE! The guy said: “Unstable weather and sea activity is not advised” The poor guy, me personally i know for a fact that this guy is pretty much has the most accurate forecasts, do you really think the airport is better or msn? This guy has a whole website with weather stuff for kuwait. I dont recall any other web page like his. And plus i dont know where you got the idea that he is unaccurate cuz he did say it was gonna be unstable. Anway everyone dont get the wrong idea. Visit his site and see for yourself, http://www.q8weather.com. PS: its a shame how here instead of encouraging people, we discover them…

Good evening, first i would like to thank you for this blog. Second, well i was here all right, i was even driving when the storm hit. I did mention that the weather was going to be unstable and sea activity is not advised, i cant say that the forecast for Friday is: “Stormy” otherwise the whole day is supposed to be stormy unlike the 15 minute storm that hit on Friday. Thats why we mention it as “unstable” because the day would be sunny however instability will occur leading to a quick passing storm known as “Sarayat”. Thank you again for the blog and your time.

Wow Since you are here ..
would you please tell us how come this year we have bad weather only and only on weekend? :-)
one more example this Friday is DUST and Saturday is RAINING when the rest of the week was fine.

Well the weather patterns change every period, and the period of weekdays seem to be fine but then the 2nd period (bad weather) is the weekend, what luck;)
