Ok this isn’t a serious post but something I was thinking about today. My favorite tasting cough medicine has to be Toplexil and I was thinking maybe I should start reviewing different cough syrups. Of course thats not going to happen.

Keep away from them cough syrups. They are addictive especially the codeine based ones.

In a dry country such as Koweit, cough syrup’s all the rage! It gives you that kick that is hard to come by with Red Bull, non alcoholic beer or karkaree. No wonder there is a spurt in weekend admissions to A & E of people who’ve O.Ded on cough syrup.
Personally, I don’t take them as they can constipate. Could this be the reason why traditionally, Britons are always in a constipated mood ? Blame it on their cough elixirs.

Hi just wondering if anyone could please tell us where we can purchase Toplexil Cough Syrup in australia or on the internet as my mother has used it before and it was the only thing that fixed her cough which she had for years.
I had a very tickly dry cough for a few days and was not able to sleep at night so went to a pharmacy in Khalidiya Mall Abu Dhabi and was given Toplexil. I took 10ml before going to bed and slept through the night and when woke up in the morning, I was still drowsy. I had a shower and got ready in the intention of going out but could not keep my eyes open so went to bed again.It helped me with the cough but spoilt y whole day as I was in bed. I am not sure what would have happened if i had taken another dose as you can have this four times a day.
