    at least they demonstrate and discuss their fault with the whole world unlike the stupid closed Apple

    lol..MIT..what did you expect? MIT has more geeks per sq mile than any other place in the world, so I expect they’d remember a 18770 char long password hehe.

    Nah..they use a special software to strengthen passwords, almost like RSA that I use here. In which my ‘key’ changes every minute & I have to put in the current ‘key’ or I can’t login..cool stuff.

    Windows 2000, MIT Kerberos Domain. hmmm.
    You would think perhaps .00000001% of the windows installation will come across this situation?

    @00965,
    Is there a better alternative to Windows?, because I sure haven’t heard of it.

    Macintosh: Sorry, can’t use it for business.
    Linux: Come back once you are actually have some usable applications for the end-user.

    IBM Mainframe dumb terminals….maybe.

    I hope this doesn’t turn into a “Mac vs. Windows” debate.

    Windows> Mac imo.

    I dealt with PC’s and Windows for years. I grew weary of constant viruses, bugs, crashes, lagging, being on the phone with customer service people for hours.

    I threw my PC in the garbage. I ordered a Mac laptop.

    I’ve had it for two years and haven’t had a single problem with it. Not “errors” no bullshit. I opened my computer from the box, and it worked, I didn’t have to install garbage utility cd’s or anything.

    The damn computer just works. PC’s will never be able to provide that. It’s not a question of which is better (We already know, technologically speaking, Mac is. Some people just need to get over that, seriously.) it’s a question of how much bullcrap you’re willing to put up with. If people like clicking “Start” to shut down their PC’s….then by all means, enjoy. But if you like shit to just work, do yourself a favor, spend the extra dollar and eliminate Windows from the equasion (if you can, some businesses need windows, that’s understandable)
