iPhone over iPod Touch

iphone ipod touch

Last week I posted an iPhone versus iPod Touch post and argued the fact that the iPhone is a better deal. Well looks like a lot more people share the same opinion, here is a snippet from iLounge’s review of the iPod Touch:

In addition to the previously mentioned missing pack-ins, you also lose iPhone’s camera, phone functionality, built-in speakers, built-in microphone, side volume controls, superior screen, superior battery, larger suite of applications, and Bluetooth wireless feature.

Here is a link for the full review. [Link]

i think the 8GB iPhone is even better for music than the 8GB touch , since u can use the speakers to listen to music (its not that loud but more than enough for a small phone) it will keep u entertained in the office or before u go to bed. Not only that but u can control the volume from the side without touching the screen,in addition the battery of the iPhone does last longer like most people say.

so the iPhone is like 2 in 1 a phone and an iPod (plus ten million other things) so instead of carrying around a bulky mobile and a bulky MP3 with all those cables n crap, just get one device that does both things, and better.

well, i agree with all what you said, but looking at it in a different angle, what if people can not afford the iPhone, or they have a phone and not willing to buy another one, they would buy the iPod touch, and they still can have similar functions, people are different standards of livings,

p.s : cant wait to get my iPhone :>~

I ordered a touch for the following reasons:

    1. Its smaller
    2. It has more space
    3. It can be sold anywhere (don’t have to worry about a new firmware locking it).
    4. Don’t need/want the extra features.

I am going to be using the iPod touch in my car and when I travel (play music/video) and has a browser to boot.. While it might not have all the features of the iPhone; it is a welcome evolution from the iPod Classic.

i-RAQ both are the same/similar price , the iPhone (8GB) is sold for 400$ and the iPod touch is sold for 300$ so its only 28KD more expensive than an iPod touch but its worth it, well everyone has a different view of things, just search online well and get the one that u’ll use more.
