I bought a 30Gb iPod video last month and yesterday while having a look at the iPods on display in futureshop I noticed they were a bit thicker. Are the 60Gb iPods thicker than 30Gb ones or was it just my imagination?
If 60Gb ones are thicker I’m glad I bought the 30Gb one :-)

yeah 60GB iPods are thicker i am guessing because the drives themselves are larger plus the larger longer lasting battery.

yeah, video play time on mine is pretty short :-(

Here are some interesting differences from mac website:

    30GB: 4.1 x 2.4 x 0.43 (inches)
    60GB: 4.1 x 2.4 x 0.55 (inches)

    30GB: 4.8 ounces
    60GB: 5.5 ounces

30GB: Up to 14 hours of music playback; up to 3 hours of slideshows with music; up to 2 hours of video playback
60GB: Up to 20 hours of music playback; up to 4 hours of slideshows with music; up to 3 hours of video playback
