FlipSilent for Nokias

This is a cool software that works on some Nokia phones. Say you get a phone call while in a meeting, all you need to do is flip your phone over and it will give the caller a busy tone and put your phone on silent. You could also just put your phone on silent by flipping your phone over anytime and taking silence off by flipping it back. Currently only works on the N95, N95 8GB, N93i and N82. [Link]

8800 (slide phone), displays the option button ’silent’ with phone still closed; but to the caller it would still be ringing..

This was developed by a guy called Samir Oeldi and called “Shutup”. I have most of his software, he makes brilliant stuff and just gives it away FREE. Other’s being Nokmote and Rotateme – features which use the accelerometer of the Nokia N95 (and others).

He doesn’t give them out for free when they are in beta, unless you donate, which is the same case with the other asian guy.
