Aquamondo

Yesterday night I passed by Abyat to check up on something and on my way out I decided to pass by this new place that had opened right in front of it called Aquamondo. It’s a cute place that has everything you need for your bathroom ranging from shower curtains and floor mats to shower heads and bathtubs. They even have a small area with a few shower heads setup where you can turn them on and see how the water flows out of them.

Abyat does have a bigger collection of shower heads and tubs but its still neat.

Mark do you know if either of these places have a decent shower filter? Apparently a LOT of people in the middle east suffer from early hair loss due to the water and the only way to curb this issue is to install a shower filter.

Arabic toilets any day more hygienic than their western counterparts.

Go to Shuwaikh, find the BMW dealership. Abyat, Platform and Aquamondo are located in the area behind the BMW dealership.

    Thanks for the location……

I think this blog should just be converted into one mass advertising website. I’m not trying to be mean, but what is the percentage of topics that cover shopping and special offers? I know it is nice to make a buck on the side, but again, what has become the added value of this blog besides giving us ‘coupons’ and ‘deals’? I was honestly hoping for more content, discussions, something that elevates the spirit above consumerism and into making our environment in Kuwait a more fun, more livable, more rich, and be able to compete with other countries. I hope you take this in a positive way, and not as a mean comment. I support blogs 100% and i truly believe we can make a difference, and not just for the wallets.

hey Mark, went there yesterday .. totally cool.. loved the things they have .. some things also have a 12 yr warranty and they r extra cheap! like u could get a sink and a faucet for 40-50 kd which is really good for a European brand… toilets start from around 40-50 kd.. If you tell me it’s made in china n all that crap then nothing is wrong with that i could be made in china without knowing. My favorite piece had to be the bathtub in your pic with those silver legs it was like 150KD.

puff, I guess you’ve just started checking this blog this week. I am currently running a “temporary” giveaway campaign. This blog isn’t all about giveaways, I’ve actually never done this before. I do post a variety of topics usually but for the next 10 days, people will be out of the country, things will be slow and so the giveaways will be the highlight.

I don’t make money from these giveaways. I’ve actually been negotiating with a variety of people trying to get my readers the best and coolest giveaways and in return the supplier of the giveaway will get promoted. No money exchanges hands and trust me it wasn’t easy to set up neither is it easy running it. I’ve got some very cool stuff to giveaway, I really wish I could share them with you now but it will be more fun as a surprise.

But to be honest with you I wouldn’t expect anything very deep from my blog. I am here to entertain people with stuff thats usually unimportant. I don’t want to change the world, this blog is just a fun place and its very rare I discuss stuff thats grander then a shawerma review :)

Thanks for your feedback though and please do take a look at the other blogs listed on my side bar. There you will find other blogs some of which I think you will really like a lot.

    Dear Mark,

Thanks for the post on Aquamondo. I’ve been meaning to update my apt bathroom & on googling places to check out in q8 i stumbled into your site. loved the showroom….very classy & the mini bathrooms displays upstairs were sooo inspiring….prices were reasonable…infact noticed some things cheaper than other stores in q8. ended up picking some classy european sanitary & some accessories with crystals. ….tnx for the headsup…:)

    cheers!
