Burger Co.

Anyone heard of or been to Burger Company? I first heard about it 10 days ago in the forum but today someone else mentioned it to me. Its supposed to be a 24 hour diner, the first in Kuwait. The place is located in Hawalli opposite “the college of business studies”.

Looks cool .. but its in Hawalli.. I wouldn’t go to Hawalli to pick up a winning lottery ticket presented to me by the Ms. Universe contestants and their sisters.

Can someone expalin to me why Kuwaitis hate Hawally so much?. I have seen it mentioned in some other posts.
KtheKuwaiti…perhaps if it was presented by Heife?

Mark try their pizza burger, my kids loved it … and why all the restaurant should be in salmia or kuwait city??? ppl in hawali cant enjoy something nice than falafel!!!!!
17. KtheKuwaiti | January 28th, 2007 at 11:39 am
I tend to avoid the whole Hawalli/Jabriya/Salmiya Bermuda triangle.. the roads are crap, the drivers are especially terrible and parking is non-existant. Not to mention, you need to know your way around the area like a boy scout or you will get lost in the labyrinth of inner streets.

Hawalli is my favorite area in Kuwait don’t diss it guys. Where else can you go checkout the latest Video games, get your essential pirated software, buy the latest cheap computer accessories, Eat the best falafel and Kushari (and now burgers) that Kuwait has to offer, Smoke at lively shesha cafes at diwar el kurd :)
If you go to Burger Co. try the egg burger and oreo shake , yummmmmm
19. Marzouq | January 28th, 2007 at 1:12 pm
cajie just as K mentioned! Its the horrible streets, lack of parking, and horrible drivers that make me avoid Hawally/Salmiya/Jabriya and ESPECIALLY the Fourth ring road!
I want to check this place out, but it being in hawally makes it difficult to go! I only go in my landcruiser because whenever you go into those areas its like a Battle Zone!
20. Pearls | January 28th, 2007 at 1:35 pm
I won’t try their burgers or food until Mark does.

if u go to Hawalli - Burger Co. and didn’t like it, you can always try “Layali AlQamar” which sells falafel only, or AlTaybawi :)
24. shrek | January 28th, 2007 at 4:08 pm
i just tried it they have the best burgers.
to get to burger co. very easy and there is no traffic new by. u dont have to get landcruiser or Hummer to pass by hawaly!
25. shrek | January 28th, 2007 at 4:09 pm

“Video Games / Movies / Software / Computer stuff = Internet.”
Not with the crappy DSL service we have in Kuwait :)

After being to burger hub, I must say burger co has like bargain prices for a very good burger. Although the cheap look of the interior does add to the rest. unique style, sometimes i felt the interior was cheap because the owner wanted to spare a few KDs, especially looking at the restaurants front sign.

it looks really, really depressing in the picture.
29. Joud | January 29th, 2007 at 10:06 am
i was in the area and passed by this morning - it’s not 24h (they open from 10am til approx 2am), and they don’t have breakfast (unless u count the egg burger)
30. TweeZ | January 29th, 2007 at 1:31 pm

Burger Co. will begin serving 24 hours from the first of February. In addition, they are opening their new branch in Salmiya next to Marina Mall.
35. BiGGGY | January 30th, 2007 at 12:14 pm
Excellent, and also they will be serving 24 hours as well? Salmiya is much nicer than Hawalli. crowdier and more life! :D ..

Since I read about Burger Co. from 248am.com I kept on nagging my husband to go and try it, he took me last Thursday and maaaaaan this is no burger! It taste so baaaaaad! The ketchup they use is soooo cheap! The onion rings are very oily! French fries looked liked I made them at home using a microwave! no way to go there again
I can’t believe that they were compared with Johnny rocket!!
