Dubai then and now: 1991 vs 2005

Two pictures of the same street, one from 1991 and one from 2005. It’s amazing how fast Dubai grew, I have seen pictures of Kuwait from 1983 and the places still look the same today! [Link]

a lot of people would tell that between 1980’s and some of the 1990’s kuwait was frozen in time ( other that house building )

but if i were you i would keep a snap from 2000 and check kuwait in 2010
