First flashmob in Kuwait?

Some students at the French School of Kuwait attempted to all freeze at the same time a la “Frozen Grand Central” except the result didn’t turn out that good really. At least they tried, maybe the next one will be better. Forward to around 4 minutes into the video, thats when they freeze. [YouTube]

Thanks Yass

  3. moayad says:

Ok, so there were not much freezing going on, but that’s ok..

What really confused me was.. why would the students of the “French” School of Kuwait speak to each other in “English”? :/ … I have nothing against it, but for me it was weirder than the freezing thing :)

It’s the same reason why students in an American school speak Arabic to each other instead of English.

  8. Angelo says:

    Hold on!

    We have a French school!?

  9. Q80 BOY says:

    OK
Who is YASS and why did they fall on the ground and where are the teachers ????????
    @ Angelo:
    I think it’s in Salmiya

  10. Yass says:

I know it looks kind of bad.. and the filming sucked big time. But it actually wasn’t really that bad at the moment.
Umm.. Laying down on the floor was part of the whole thing (Q80 BOY).
The thing is most students knew there was a flashmob happening, but didnt really know what the hell they were supposed to do and why.
And others, well.. they were just too young to take it seriously….

I’m a French school alumni! and it was nice to see these kids trying to be creative, at least the French school students are the first to try a flashmob in Kuwait. Yass, try it again.

  15. Yass says:

I would try it again and make sure the kids are more serious about it … but ya.. ow and also, make sure the filming is NORMAL. Ahaha.
Honestly it as very funny, I couldn’t stop laughing especially when everyone lied down on the (burning) floor.
At least I got the privilege to say i (tried to organize) organized the first flashmob to be ever done in Kuwait :D

What would be good tho, is that LFK does it every year, as a tradition or something. Madree…

We always hear people talking abt ASK, UAS…etc and never really the french school. So for a change…

    Thx Shopa :) & Sita.

Flashmobs happen everyday in Kuwait. Just go to any ministry and check out all the people sitting on their arses doing nothing, it’s quite amazing actually.
