I like the way your pic has all the cars in their lanes, with a suitable space in-between, and no-one trying to rapidly cut across 3 lanes to get to Lorenzo’s in a hurry.

What they fail to mention on this site regarding this project is:

1) How many more of the few remaining old historic buildings on the yet-to-be-completed northern route of the 1st ring road will be torn down.
2) How many more archaeological sites will be destroyed upon excavation for the construction of their “trough section”.

For the sake of our history and heritage, I sincerely hope I am wrong in my assumptions, and hope that they have taken these issues into consideration. But endless numbers of previous projects in the city centre since the 1950s have actually proven otherwise. Who ever heard of building a highway right through the middle of a city? If only they had stuck to the original planning schemes of the 50s and 60s instead of turning the city into a free-for-all, we wouldn’t have the congestion problems we have now.

you think this is the best thing the local goverment did in terms of website!

did you check the civil service commission site? you can even check how many sick days you used in you’re work not to mention even applying for one without even going to work among other interactive services, and you think this is the best site! give me a break!

Wow, so do you think properties including residential real estate around the first ring roud will boom and appreciate in price because of this huge improvement in the 1st ring road?? i mean the houses in shuwaikh and especially Shamiya (with direct access) that are directly on the first ring road?
if so, ive heard peopl saying that houses along the first ring road would go up in price by at least 30%.. is that true? do u see potential?? lucky bastards!
