First time I’ve come across this blog, and already like this post. I’m currently in Israel am fascinated by what goes on here. As someone interested in politics, and the effects it has on societies, it would be difficult not to consistently view Israel and Palestine through that lens.

Nevertheless, it’s really nice to see someone who can look past the heaviest issues for a little bit and make the mundane and esoteric both interesting and funny. We could all use a bit more humour in our lives.

IDF Chef Hats is not a political subject.

800 people got killed in 2 weeks? Why didn’t you come in here last month and nag on me to post something about the 400 civilians in Congo who were massacred in a single day? http://www.cnn.com/2008/WORLD/africa/12/30/congo.xmas.massacre/index.html What about all the Iraqi civilians who were massacred in Iraq, they’re Arabs also no? There are hundreds of people dying every day (including Arabs) so you either give a fuck about all of them or don’t.

Mark, if your not going to talk politics then why do you bring up this subject as you know its sensitive? nearly 800 people are killed so far, whether or not you dont talk politics you have an obligation to protest as an Arab
