Kuwait Teens

This is a video someone called Youfes did for a school project. The video is about how Kuwaiti teenagers are different and have different interests. My favorite part was “The Geezes”. [Video]

No problem man, but whoever made this was creative. Pay attention to the music, especially when they switch over to the geezees.

I didn’t realize this until now, but there’s so much stuff you can do here if you’re a young teenager these days. When I was a kid, all we had was Laila Gallery, Al-Fanar just built up, and people would hang out at Al-Manara Bookstore and freakin IVC. Hahaha!!! People would also go to Casino Recordings, bas that’s not there anymore. Neither is Wendy’s.

They had A&W restaurant too, but that’s gone. No more Triple Papa Burgers.

Kids shouldn’t complain about being bored. There’s so much to do these days.

dude you were better off then me. when i was in highschool all we had was sultan center, and then they made it familys only on weekends so we were fucked.

so we moved to hardees which was located where starbucks and topshop is now but then they shut it down.

so we moved to fudruckers which had just opened until i got banned for breaking a window during a fight.

then they opened johnny rockets and we moved there. but then they had a minimum 1.5kd per person limit and we used to be like 6 broke teens squeezing in on 1 table ordering 1 tea so we had to move out.

we started hanging out on the corner infront of johnny rockets but then the cops stopped letting us gather there cuz it was getting too crowded.

    finally we moved to mcdonalds.

there was no fanar no nothing.

also on a side note, if the person who mad the video thinks the cool people are the ones who hang out at the billiard places then you can tell how cool the guy who made the video is lol

    I graduated class of 96.
My house is near where Hungry Bunny used to be in the old salmiya. There also used to be Dairy Queen and A&W there in the 80s. Anyway don’t know if you remember this but there was a cookie place that opened inside Hungry Bunny but later shut down. I don’t remember what it was called but they had the best fucking chocolate chunk cookies ever.

The video: Not too great. Didn’t entertain me too much, would’ve been much better if there was some commentary.

Never the less, it’s really creative and well thought of.

One more thing: ‘The Others’ is more like ‘The Geeks’…

Holy shit this brings back old memories about the tunnel and subway. we used to hang there alot then it was Laila gallery pool place when tunnel went under the knife. We used to go to A&W to “study” for exams and shit. They limited refills to 3 after I took like 20 :P
After that we moved to wataniya where subway moved too and played CS in arena upstairs then we graduated (class of 2001) and that was the end of those days … Only go to salmiya now to buy shit
