Confashions from Kuwait has pictures of a new cafe that opened up in Marina Waves called Living Room Lounge. Based on the pictures it looks like a really cool place. Can’t wait to try it. [Link]

Like all that Kuwait needs is another crabby cafe with a nice seating area to cover for the crabbiness of the food and drinks served, am guessing its crabby because 90% are or become one after a while.
It looks like a cool place.. but I have a feeling it isn’t going to be that good!

I went there today.. they mix red bull with all kinds of flavors which i think is pretty cool.. i had the peach red bull drink today called “Wake me up”.. it was decent but i couldnt taste much red bull in it.. Anyway the place definately looks cool.. Didnt try any of the food because there wasn’t anything really interesting on the menu, maybe next time..
The interior design is great … I liked the drinks they serve as well as the light snaks … Very nice place especialy when the weather cools down … Good luck to the owners …

The place needed accessories though and better staff they were so slow!
Like they didn’t have any glasses and they were waiting from some to leave to take their glasses wash them and re-use and i noticed that the place has no kitchen just a small counter behind the bar which explains the slow process…..
Living room lounge? its either this or that .
The design is too outdated. Minimalism is out.

shut up people, their drinks are good, cookies better and il ga3da 3al ba7ar is better than anything else we have. go and try it before you sit your pompous arses on your la-z-boys and criticize.
I was there last week end… The place looks nice and I’m guessing the outdoor seating would be great once the weather is nice!
Seating NOT comfortable AT ALL!!!! (I actually tried all types of seats there!)
The space is a bit crammed – Chairs & tables together and tables 2 small especially when food is served!
When we were there, they were out of anything (food and drinks) that has chocolate in it (and it was only 9:30PM)… How’s that possible!?!? To me… the Blasphemy!
The food was OK… Tried a couple of sandwiches and they’re not bad!
Music was good though!
The place is absolotuley amazing, I took my girlfriend there twice and it is pure heaven, But sometimes when it crowded the service there is kinda sloppy, But i love it, The mood is amazing, Better then anyting else in kuwait, And no offense but NO 3AGADZ at all, Hopefully i don’t wanna go there and see some 3agadz sucking on a kutchap bottle going crazy over the cheque for no godamn reason fighting over 250 fils.

i guess living room lounge is the best cafe ever in kuwait!!! i hope we have 100 living rooms:P
Tried this place three times. Second time to try and give it the benefit of the doubt, third time ‘cos I’m stupid. All three times service and food very disappointing. The decor is lovely and location superb.
Food is boring, bland, re-heated slop. Service is amongst the worst I’ve come across in Kuwait. Philipino staff are usually the best, they are usually polite, fast, professional and efficient but not in this case. And what’s with reserving 4 prime tables for people who didn’t show whilst we were there, which was about 2 hours??? Try upstairs at Marina Waves next to Maki, has even better views and the food could certainly not be worse..
I think the owner of this lounge have a bad attitude problem— She/he treats her staff like a slave…thats why the staff wasn’t longer work properly, look behind of this matter…and you will see the real problem on it…
