MacBook Pro Prices in Kuwait
TivoGuy passed by zMacShop yesterday because he was interested in the MacBook Pro. He was expecting the prices to be a bit more expensive then the States but it turns out they were selling it for KD890 which is KD160 more expensive! This is for the 15.4″ 2.0Ghz with 1GB RAM and 100GB HD. So I phoned a couple of other Mac stores in Kuwait to see how much they were all charging for the same laptop and this is what I found:

Turns out zMacShop is actually a lot cheaper then the other Mac stores in Kuwait but surprisingly not the cheapest. The cheapest store turned to be Solize and by KD40 which is a nice chunk of change. The price on Amazon is KD730 for your information.

First off, i have a big problem with solize when i found out that they were selling refurbished macs, BUT removing the refurbished sticker, i personally would never buy anything from their store for that reason. Another thing, solize doesnt provide warranty for their macbook pro’s irrelevant of what a representitve of that company may say. they are not authorized.
Also, TwaiF at zmacshop, cinema display 20″ is 300 and 23″ is 500, 30″ available ant special price when u order.
Also etinct-dodo the prices of the macbook has gone up to 890 in the zmacshop because of the texes paid to get them in…

Good excuse to go to NYC and buy one. In fact, I think I just might… come this fall the new OS will be out too… meaning the dual boot feature will be bundled with it seeing as theyre beta testing it now…

It’s between 9,500-13,000 AED here in Dubai for the 15.4″ 2.0GHZ 100GB/HD 1GB Ram. Isn’t the range funny?

my brother just received his mbp today. He got it for €2100 (KD 778). Still if you get it from the US store it’s a KD100 cheaper.
