Magnet falling down a copper tube

I didn’t think I would find this video interesting but it is! The clip isn’t slowed down or anything, its in real time but the falling magnet creates an eddy current that exerts a damping force on the magnet. [YouTube]

    3azeez many cars use a form of magnetic dampers. the Corvette ZR-1 is one example.
