mPay is Easy
Have you guys tried mPay? It only works with MTC but its really a time saver. Nat has a prepaid eeZee line and I used to recharge it for her using the MTC website which although easier then passing by the bakala and getting a refill card, it was still not easy enough for my lazy ass. mPay on the other hand makes life really easy. You sign up with them for free and you then get a menu on your phone allowing you refill other peoples phones (or yours) with just a few clicks on the phone. The amount then gets deducted from your bank account.
So for example I just went into my mPay menu on the phone, and then clicked on reload and then clicked on KD5 and then chose Nat and I then clicked on confirm. Right away I got an SMS telling me that I had transferred money onto Nats prepaid card and she also instantly got her phone recharged. Its that easy.
You can check out their website by going to mpay.com.kw but to sign up just pass by any Fono branch (like the one at Marina Mall) and they would set it up for you right away. I like stuff that makes me lazier.

If MTC has it then Wataniya will have a different way which they will say is better! lol! But improvements are always welcomed!

Doesn’t M-Net do that? (https://www.mnet.com.kw/)
5. Mark | June 8th, 2006 at 6:06 pm
nope mnet doesnt do that. mnet is something completely different. mpay is just for recharging the phones, mnet is for buying stuff with the phone. 2 different things.

I thing the registration is a bit stupid. Why would I have to send my Civil ID by fax to them or even go to fono to register ? Offering something online should be completely accessible ONLINE . Would they even accept credit cards ?

they need this info plus a signature and stuff cuz they send your info to your bank. i actually had my application rejected the first time because NBK sent back my forms stating that my signature was different.

M-net sucks, the technology is outdated and it failed in europe , transaction are slow too and many company charges extra for using this server and most of the time there service are down. Cant use this service if you dont have any other bank account other then NBK…
All fart no shit..

heeeeey mnet doesnt suck. its very convienient i bet u dont have an mnet account u cant just go and criticize without using or knowing about it. Mnet is just like knet but much more convienient for example ur card wears off when mnet doesnt u need anything with mnet where as knet u do and mnet is much faster then knet. maybe mnet was slow when it first began in 2004 but its very fast and convienient now and FYI mobiile commerce is revolutionizing and expanding in europe !!

the thing is the idea is good but the company sucks….one day i forget my password and i need so badly and i tried to call them but no body was answering the phone, i was so Frustrating, i call nbk and they ware the same .

I agree with esam, the company who operates Mnet are bunch of rich people who have to money to spend on the technology but dont have money to pay the salary to there staff. Many of my friends have worked there and left the job for good. The company whoese technolgoy they use from Germany also going in loss.
From IT manager to System admin, there is 100 % turnover in the staff with Mnet.
Belive me Mnet and aswell as mnnet management sucks.
