Dec 2005 United Airlines dumped 186 million USD onto the public of Colorado for the failed system. Many years, 20+ miles of track, thousands of on demand pod-cars, hundreds of destinations. Did not work and over budget to boot. One of the famous tech failures of the last 10 years.
