This town is ghost town. I’ve seen a program on the History Channel the other day where they are trying to determine what would happen when humans go extinct (Yeah I know). They showed videos of Chernobyl now since no one lives their anymore. I was surprised how mother nature took over. The place looked like a city abandoned 1000 years ago!!

Amazing Mark! I had no idea about this whole incident! You should cover more historical places. In fact, I can recommend one place- world-renowned for being haunted. If I pay your tickets and accommodations, would you cover it and take pics?! ;)

You certainly can.
My friend was telling me about it this summer and how he really wants to go. They even give you an anti-radiation suit. Because of the high levels of radiation in some places, you are allowed to be there for a limited amount of time.

Radiation sticks around for thousands of years, so I’d stick to watching the pics right in the comfort of my home. Godspeed to the photogrpaher.

CNBC will be airing “The Nuclear Option” Tuesday October 14th at 9p ET. Melissa Francis goes inside the nuclear energy debate with a provocative look at the facts and fears behind this controversial energy source. See why some are even arguing for a nuclear power plant in their own backyards.
Additional web extras can be found at http://www.cnbc.com/id/26868716?__source=vty|thenuclearoption|&par=vty .
Please let me know if you would like any additional information.
Thanks,
Kevin
