Looks pretty sleek, but what’s the blue fluffy thing doing there?
i registerd in forum but still can,t post
hehe …
i always had my doubts when they say an old man with a lot of patience built those boats “s l o w l y” …
i got suckered …
hmm.. but the ship is made from Glass how come !
Ahh another one of life’s mysteries has been solved !
thanks Mark
[...] Ever wondered how the ship got into the bottle? Lebanese blogger Mark shows us how here. Amira Al Hussaini [...]
I am still confused :(
you think that explains it? its not clear what is happening
are you serious jane? without the sails up the ship can just fit through the neck of the bottle, and then the sails are *hoisted* upright with a piece of string attached to them. The glass “ship in a bottle” is usually where the bottom of the glass bottle is *welded* back on after the boat’s been put back inside. But that’s clearly just cheating.
me too
Now I can finally sleep :)
I have a little children crafts book ( and I’m not a mother, don’t ask :P)
one of the crafts is to make a ship in a bottle..
you can find wonders in those craft books.
