The world’s 40 best directors
I like David Lynch a lot but I wouldn’t have him in the #1 spot. Takashi Miike should be wayy up higher in the list, at least ahead of Michael Moore. What is Michael Moore even doing on this list and where is Terry Gilliam? [Link]

Exactly where is Terry Gilliam, or even Christopher Nolan or Darren Aronofsky or Wes Anderson. They just have these fluff guys in that list and avoiding real directors creating something new.

Ummm…I’m supposed to believe the guy that directed “School of Rock” is a better director than Steven Spielberg (who is not even on the list!)?

at least steven shitberg wasn’t #1 or even on the list at all LOL.
lynch is cool but waaaaaaaaaay overrated and in no way #1. Takeshi Kitano should have been higher up the guy is a tru killa and he has a sense of humour. fincher should also be higher and mike moore’s whiny fat arse should just be erased from history.
