U Shop We Ship Update
I ordered the Philips Body Groom the other day from Amazon and today it arrived into my U Shop We Ship mailbox. I found out by an email I received from USWS telling me my package had arrived. I logged into my account and noticed that the item had already been shipped from the states and is on its way to Kuwait. I checked the shipment details and got a full description including the vendor name, whats in the package, the size of the package, how much it weights, and how much the shipping costs. I then went to my payments page and saw that I have 1 outstanding payment which was for the shipped package, I clicked a few links and paid for the package with my Knet card and thats it. Now I just wait till they deliver it to me. So far this seems really practical and cool.

I was checking their shipping estimates on their packages and stuff, apparently they take 3 days to deliver something from the UK or US which is better than Aramex’s 4 days + 1-2 days for home delivery.
I so want to try USWS but I need a break from all that online shopping :/ I bet they don’t have a banned list of items like Aramex does.

mark, how did you register with them? did you go to their office or only apply in the web site?

what we need to see is how they perform over the time. Aramex was also a good experience when they started….but lets see….

Sounds good. I’m considering setting up an account as well. I went to Marina Mall last night around 7pm hoping to catch them there, but couldn’t find them anywhere. Looks like they had wrapped up by then.
Jackie, they do have a list of banned items which is listed on their website. I doubt this is something that can be avoided. But what are perfumes doing on that list???

People drink cologne, perfume .. really.
That said, my stuff got to the ushopweship mailbox on the 1st, they sent it out on the 2nd and it should be here fairly soon. Just prepaid shipping with a nbk credit card. The only thing that sucks is their website .. quite hard to follow.

I found this out from fedex, the reason they dont take perfurmes is because some of the are compressed, and are high flammable. They have caused problems on planes before. Thats how come they are banned.

Sabah, well at least their restricted items are normal sort of in comparison to Aramex in which they state you are not allowed to purchase Sony laptops or Panasonic devices or some other brands because they are available in Kuwait :/
