I gave them an adoption form about a month ago and no answer. I then proceeded to give at least 4 or 3 emails asking about if we could visit the shelter and if the cats we wanted were simply litterbox trained. No answer! I haven't heard of any bad experiences with PAWS but they ARE being pretty useless right now. One would think they would answer an email requesting an adoption right away! Also, I don't get why they won't let anyone in without appointment... Anyways, I'm getting a cat from AFL. And guess what: when I called, someone ACTUALLY answered! I sent them an email once to ask how to give them a donation. I am selling my pictures as cards here in Kuwait and part of that profit was planned to go to PAWS, because they picked up a stray dog and stray baby kittens I found and helped out another one I brought to the Vet in Shuweikh. By now I don't even want to think what might have become of those animals. I never got an answer on my request (after a very quick response on my first inquiry about th dog). AFL is a whole different story. They gladly take my money and show me and explain what they do with it. So many times people buy pedigree cats or dogs and once they realize they cannot take care of them just let them out in the street to starve. They said there wasn't anyone in the area. I said he would certainly get hit by a car and I had my kids with me so I couldn't grab him and take him myself. They didn't do anything about it.
