What would CNN’s website look like if you removed everything but the real news?
A guy basically decided to analyze CNN’s main page and remove everything except the real news. Turns out the majority of the articles on the main page are mostly just entertainment and gossip. I also noticed this recently, CNN’s main page is being filled up with articles of the kind I would find on The Superficial or Socialite’s Life except CNN was always a few days slower. [Link]

CNN also has an hourly headline generator that picks random news to be headlines so that the page keeps changing .
if you stay on the page, you will eventually see the same stuff recycled unless there is a breaking news story.
for any news i check out bbc
its a crazy Ad world out there.
Advertising and Media are just taking over the core subject, after i took a look at the article !! CNN looks like ALWASEET news paper !! at least ALWASEET is more honest.. hehe
mass media always gravitates to the lowest common denominator. luckily, the BBC is funded by the public, not advertisers, so is less inclined to focus on the trash that people really want to read.
