Why are most watches in advertisements set to 10:08?

there is no true answer, the artice show several reasons but not a definitive.

LOL! I actually got a magazine and looked for watch ads, and all of them were set to 10:08!!!

The photographers are only available at 10:08.
They can be very fussy.
