(for Example, a bank can have an ActiveX control that collects smart-card information) Another example for activeX control is a MSN file/image upload. These are extensions to IE that allows features not originally available in the product itself. Other activeX implementations do many things like launching a terminal session ..etc Anyway, IE is not a member of my family, Who cares? I am amazed how people see a plugin for some browser and think "WoW I love this browser cuz it has plugins"! Google provided a bookmarkie thingie a while ago once you login it was through GoogleBar for IE (Which is a plugin incase you didn't notice yet) As for me, my bookmarks are usually stagnant.
